Raiden Resources Limited (ASX: RDN, DAX: YM4) has commenced a soil sampling campaign at the Mt Sholl Lithium Project. The objective of the campaign is to define potential lithium-bearing pegmatite mineralisation in areas under cover on the project.
A soil sampling service provider has been engaged to conduct the campaign across the tenement.
The company informed that the first batch of XRD (X-ray diffraction) mineral analysis results from the Andover South Lithium Project are expected soon. Moreover, a satellite-based remote sensing study on the Arrow and Pyramids projects is nearing completion.

More
The company recognised the potential for lithium mineralisation at the northern-most Mt Sholl tenement and conducted a preliminary mapping excersise.
Satellite imagery analysis, sampling and mapping work , in conjunction with lithium-in-soil anomalies recently discovered by ASX-listed GreenTech Metals have boosted RDN’s confidence in the potential for lithium-bearing pegmatite in the district. Potential pegmatite hosted mineralisation might be obscured by sediment cover on the project, and in order to systematically assess the mineralisation potential, the company plans to undertake an in-depth soil sampling program. The campaign would provide a better understanding of potential pegmatite mineralisation distribution and zonation.
Also, samples from the Andover South project have been submitted to Perth-based ALS laboratory for XRD to define the type of lithium-bearing minerals at the project. The sample results will be reported after its analysis and interpretation.
An external geophysical service provider is performing the remote sensing study at Arrow and Pyramid projects. After study completion, RDN plans to conduct a targeted field campaign to sample and verify any potential prospects.
RDN shares traded at AU$0.023 apiece midday on 16 October 2023.
