Highlights

  • Loyal Lithium has engaged Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd (DGC) as its in-country geological partner to support the exploration program at the Scotty Lithium Project.
  • Magnetotelluric (MT) geophysics survey has commenced with completion expected late Dec. 2022.
  • The recent 2022 drill campaign by Iconic Minerals Ltd has recorded impressive lithium values up to 5,570ppm and boron to >10,000ppm just 4km east of the boundary of LLI’s Scotty Target 2.

Loyal Lithium Limited (ASX:LLI) has shared an update about its operations with respect to its Scotty lithium project. The company has engaged Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd (DGC) as its in-country geological partner. LLI believes that DGC will amplify the intellectual and practical value of the Scotty Lithium Project significantly.

Advancing Scotty Lithium Project

The company’s primary target includes the evaporitic lithium compounds that are found in fine-grained clay-sized sediments.

Soil geochemistry and magnetotelluric (MT) geophysics surveys were deployed to effectively target drilling, following which Iconic Minerals Ltd’s adjoining Bonnie Claire Lithium Resource was discovered (NI 43-101 Inferred Resources comprises 3.4Bt @ 1,013ppm Li for 18.3Mt of LCE3).

On similar lines, LLI too has initially targeted a sedimentary resource at the Scotty Lithium Project. The company is of the belief that the majority of prospective areas for this target align with the two best soil targets located in the north and west - Target Area 1 & Target Area 2.

This is what the CEO, Mr Adam Ritchie, commented on the Nevada operational update:
