EV Resources (ASX:EVR) Reports Up to 25.20% Antimony from Los Lirios Underground Workings

3 min read | June 30, 2026 12:33 PM AEST | By Sonal Goyal

Highlights

  • EV Resources reported underground channel sampling results of up to 25.20% antimony (Sb) at its Los Lirios Antimony Project.
  • The results confirm high-grade mineralisation across four historical underground workings.
  • The sampling programme validated a continuous, structurally controlled Carbonate Replacement Deposit (CRD) system.
  • San José CRD horizon has been identified as a repeatable exploration target.
  • The findings indicate that proximity to feeder structures can be used to target higher-grade mineralisation during the planned Phase 2 drilling programme.
  • The underground sampling data will be integrated with historical information and Phase 1 drilling results to support the company's maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE).

EV Resources Ltd (ASX:EVR) shares jumped 16.67% to AUD 0.0070 per share during morning trading hours on 30 June 2026 , after the company reported high-grade antimony mineralisation from underground systematic channel sampling at its Los Lirios Antimony Project . Assays returned grades of up to 25.20% antimony (Sb) , with results from four historical underground adits confirming structurally controlled and continuous Carbonate Replacement Deposit (CRD) system. Furthermore, the findings indicate that proximity to feeder structures can be used for targeting the highest grade zones in the upcoming Phase 2 drilling.

The findings will support the planned maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the project.

High-Grade Results Across Historical Workings

The channel sampling campaign covered the San Rafael, Guadalupana, Linda Vista, and San Pedro historical adits, where 54 channel samples were collected perpendicular to mineralised faces to assess grade, continuity and width of the target horizon.

Among the highest-grade intersections, Pit 1 (San Jose CRD) returned 0.9 metres at 25.20% Sb , while Mina Guadalupana recorded-

  • 3m @ 19.70% Sb
  • 6m @ 7.17% Sb
  • 3m @ 17.20% Sb
  • 6m @ 13.95% Sb

Mina San Pedro reported-

  • 1m @ 13.85% Sb
  • 1m @ 12.75% Sb
  • 85m @ 3.38% Sb

Mina Linda Vista reported -

  • 1m @ 9.40% Sb
  • 5m @ 11.35% Sb

Mina San Rafael reported-

  • 5m @ 10.65% Sb
  • 8m @ 4.67% Sb
  • 9m @ 4.13% Sb
  • 9m @ 3.80% Sb

The antimony mineral occurs as primary crystalline stibnite , with weathered zones containing cervantite and stibiconite . According to the company, no significant base metal or iron sulphides were observed within the mineralised sequence.

San José CRD Horizon Emerges as Key Exploration Target

The results confirm that high-grade antimony is consistently hosted within a silicified limestone replacement unit positioned beneath a defining stratigraphical gypsum capping layer , defining the San José CRD horizon as a repeatable exploration target.

Channel Sampling Supports Resource Development

EV Resources highlighted that systematic channel sampling provides representative grade profiles in shallow, fractured ground by avoiding the potential loss of high-grade fine mineralised material that can occur during conventional diamond drilling. This sampling approach captures the complete mineralised profile, providing additional confidence in the geological model.

The underground sampling data will be combined with historical information and Phase 1 drilling results to support the preparation of the maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) .
