ASX-listed mineral exploration firm Cooper Metals (ASX:CPM) has released encouraging assays from drilling at the King Solomon and Python Cu-Au prospects of the Mt Isa East Copper Gold Project in northwestern Queensland.
The assay results from the maiden batch of samples taken from the recent reverse circulation (RC) drilling have delivered significant copper-gold mineralisation.
As per the assays, the hole 22MERC055 situated in the northern part of King Solomon 1 delivered three significant intercepts of copper-gold mineralisation. Importantly, the western zone of mineralisation hit individual one metre gold grades up to 4.1g/t.
