A diversified mineral exploration and mine development company, Catalina Resources (ASX:CTN), has appointed Mr Michael Busbridge as its Technical Director. Also, Executive Director Mr Sanjay Loyalka will take over as CTN’s Executive Chairman for his leadership and executive management work along with the firm’s exploration activities.
The ASX-listed company is strengthening its team to take forward its mission and vision to elevate shareholder value by successfully exploring prospective lithium, gold, base metals, and iron ore projects, leading the development of these projects towards production.
An insight into Mr Busbridge’s profile
With 40 years of experience as a geologist, Mr Busbridge can be a great asset to the firm. He holds expertise and immense knowledge in lead, gold, nickel, copper, zinc, lithium, REEs, graphite, and oil exploration across Australia. Also, he has numerous years of experience as a mine/development geologist in nickel and gold mines.
Previously, he served multiple roles in the mining industry, including managerial posts at Normandy Mining Ltd, Barrick Gold Australia, and Teck Australia.
Details of appointment agreement
Mr Busbridge is serving Cataline Resources as a chief geologist under a Consultancy Agreement. His recruitment as a Technical Director is also covered under the same consulting agreement. According to the agreement, AU$1,000/day will be the daily pay. However, when the working hours are fewer than a full day, the applicable rate will be AU$100/hour.
