Ex-Googler Joins Swift Networks Group!

Appoints Lee Hunter to the Executive Team: Swift Networks Group Ltd (ASX:SW1), the leading communications, content and advertising solutions provider, has appointed former Google and YouTube executive Lee Hunter to its Executive Team. He had served previously as a Head of Marketing Strategy and Innovation at Google and YouTube’s Global Head of Brand and Creative. Â

He was also Interim CEO of ASX-listed advertising technology company Tech Mpire Ltd. (TMP) Further, he had delivered innovative marketing and product development for Google and had launched some of their biggest initiatives and working with the world’s top talent and brands in YouTube. Therefore, Lee has brought to Swift, a strong record of accomplishment in executing strategy at two of the world’s most demanding Tech businesses, by building the world's top technology brands, leading high-performing teams, driving growth and launching successful products and campaigns over nearly 20 years. At TMP, he had restructured the company’s global sales operation, and built a new leadership team, launched its Asia-Pacific operation in Singapore and developed a new go-to-market strategy for the business during his tenure. In Swift, he will be responsible to drive SW1’s strategy and growth initiatives, particularly related to the deployment of new revenue streams from advertising across Swift’s platforms.

SW1 has now implemented a three years’ reseller agreement with Oneview Healthcare. Oneview is a known healthcare software and patient engagement solutions provider; and through this engagement, Swift will become an entertainment solutions provider to Oneview customers and this will be across the Asia Pacific region. In addition, it will be a favored solutions provider on a global basis as well.

SW1 inked an exclusive content agreement with New York based, eSports media company, Real Big Hits. Under this, live broadcast rights for Fortnite and EA Sports FIFA tournaments have been covered. This engagement has provided for exclusive rights to the company to offer some of the world’s most sought-after eSports content to customers across Australia, New Zealand and the international maritime sector; and the company also has the rights to resell the content to other broadcasters. The latter will include various mobile operators across the globe. Additionally, SW1 has signed 3-year reseller agreement with Vietnamese systems integrator, Sieu Nhat Thanh Co. Ltd. (SNT), and this will help Swift’s award-winning hospitality solution to be provided to its customers throughout Vietnam; and as per the agreement, SNT will immediately deploy Swift’s hospitality IPTV and guest connectivity solutions to 500 rooms across 3 hotels in Vietnam. These hotels include the two five-star properties, Salinda Resort, Huong Bien Hotel, Phu Quoc Island and La Résidence Hotel and Spa, Hue. Meanwhile, SW1 stock has fallen 40% in three months as on November 06, 2018, and it traded at $ 0.260 on November 7, 2018 reflecting a 1.96% rise in stock price.
