On 20 October 2022, Tourism Australia launched its new global campaign ‘Come and Say G’day’ in key global tourism markets, reminding the world that ‘there is nothing like Australia.’ This campaign is expected to draw tourists back to the country following the end of the pandemic

Tourism Australia’s campaign is broadcasting a new multichannel advertisement in 60, 30, and 15 seconds variations. Along with that, the campaign also incorporates print ads and high-impact ‘out of home’ advertising placements. The campaign is also being executed through social, digital, and content marketing

The campaign ads feature a mascot Ruby, a CGI-animated souvenir kangaroo.

This campaign is further supported by airline companies, state tourism organisations, and distribution partners across the world.

The mascot, Ruby, has already begun to appear on billboards around the world since last week. Ruby’s voice in the ads is dubbed by the Australian actress Rose Byrne.

Ruby is also joined by a toy unicorn Louie on her adventures.
