 Dragontail Installed More Than 300 New Stores In February 2019

Dragontail Systems Limited (ASX:DTS) is into the information technology sector and was founded in 2016. The headquarter of the company is situated in St Georges Terrace, Perth, Australia. The company’s core technologies include Algo, Algo Light, Driver’s Platform. Algo Dispatching System is a major development of the company which enables the customers to track their orders online.

On 1 March 2019, the company has announced that its products were installed in over 300 new stores during the month of February. This achievement demonstrates the potential pace at which the company can grow month on month installations.

These installations are a combination of the two flagship products of the company, the ALGO Dispatching Platform, and the Artificial Intelligence QT Camera, and took place over three continents including Asia, North America, and Australia.

The Managing Director of the company Mr. Ido Levanon said that the company had overcome the delays in the last couple of months which were beyond its control and made a solid start towards meeting its installation targets for this year and enters an exciting phase of accelerated hockey stick growth.

On the operating results front, the company reported total revenue was up of $1,074,676 up by 350% as the company has started to commercialize and scale its unique food preparation and delivery optimization technologies. The total loss for the year was $7,041,539 as compared to a loss of $4,659,059 in 2017 driven by the increased global activities and resourcing as Dragontail executed on the growth opportunities available to it with large global QSR / foodservice customers.

The total cash receipts for 2018 financial year was three times greater than in 2017. Some of the installations planned for late 2018 were postponed to the early part of 2019 by the company due to circumstances beyond their control. The company has adjusted its forecasts accordingly and estimates the achievement of its install base original forecast of 1,700 installations by the end of Q2 2019.

The company has signed a collaboration agreement with Weezmo Technologies Ltd. It is a unique company and holds the exclusive proprietary software for issuance of digital invoices and the provision of remarketing and customer behaviour analyses services to increase its customers' conversion. Dragontail is expected to significantly reduce the costs of integration with POS companies, as a result of the engagement. Moreover, it has signed a strategic agreement with Jubilant FoodWorks Limited (Jubilant), the master franchise for Domino’s Pizza in India, with 1,134 stores, as well as the master franchise for Domino’s Pizza in, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh and Dunkin’ Donuts in India.

On the price-performance front, the stock of Dragontail Systems last traded at $0.155 and with a market capitalization of ~$39.68 million. The stock has generated a negative YTD return of 17.95% and posted negative returns of 38.46% and 3.03% over the last three months and one-month period. However, it has generated a return of 18.52% over the last six months period. The stock has a 52-week high price of $0.315 and a 52-week low price of $0.015, with an average trading volume of 364,287.
