Holding over 24 years of experience across financial and project development within the mining sector, Mr Gerhard Redelinghuys serves as the Managing Director and CEO of Bowen Coking Coal. He specialises in acquisitions and deal securing of mining projects globally and in the past has held key senior management positions for both open-pit (OP) and underground (UG) mining operations.
Mr Redelinghuys represented the owners for Billion dollar plus underground coal mining project in Queensland. Ever since completing his studies in finance at the University of Pretoria, he joined Price Waterhouse Coopers and later the fellow South African Coal producer EXXARO Resources Ltd (Earlier KUMBA Resources and ISCOR) in 1995.
Currently, Mr Redelinghuys serves as the Managing Director (MD) of Cape Coal. He is also a graduate member of not-for-profit membership organisation AICD (Australian Institute of Company Directors).
Mr Blair Sergeant holds extensive experience in the mining industry and holds a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University and thereafter, he pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Administration.
In the past he served as the founding managing director of coal developer and explorer, Lemur Resources Limited and as finance director aiding Coal of Africa Limited to grow from under $2 million to a $1.5 Billion market capitalisation at its peak.
Mr Sergeant holds memberships of The Chartered Governance Institute (former ICSA) and the not-for-profit membership organisation AICD (Australian Institute of Company Directors).
Mr Neville Sneddon holds over 4 decades of experience across Queensland and NSW Mineral Resources Industry and serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of Bowen Coal. His long exposure to development and operations of open cut and underground mining operations, coupled with vast Industry and Board knowledge will assist Bowen Coking Coal further.
In the past, Mr Sneddon served as the Chairman of Stanmore Coal Ltd. He served in a senior position in the NSW mines Inspectorate managing the regulations in the mining industry in NSW. An experience of both regulatory and market sides would possibly facilitate Bowen Coal through exploration and further in growing and creating significant value for the shareholders. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Shell Coal, later acquired by Anglo American and then moved to mining and auxiliary infrastructure role such as serving as the Chairman of Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal and Director of Port Waratah Coal Services. Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal is amongst the largest coking coal port terminal exporting from over 30 mines from the Bowen Basin.
Mr Steve Formica is successful business professional with over 35 years of experience in operations management and business development expertise. In the past, while developing and managing various privately held business across sectors, he served as Director at Orminex Ltd (ASX: ONX) and Lindian Resources Limited (ASX: LIN).
Current, serving as the Non-Executive Chairman of stock exchange listed entities including Houston We Have (ASX:HWN), High Grade Metals Limited (ASX: HGM), and Ragnar Metals (ASX:RAG).
Mr Nick Jorss holds over 20 years of experience in project management, investment banking, corporate finance, and civil engineering. Mr Jorss holds invaluable experience in growing a junior business to the next levels and establishing as mid-tier coking coal players in Australia.
Mr Jorss is the founding Managing Director of Stanmore Coal Limited (ASX:SMR), which is currently acquired by the Golden Investments for an on market offer of $1 a share. Currently, Mr Jorss is a founding investor and Director of St Lucia Resources, Wingate Capital, and Kurilpa Uranium.
During his tenure in investment banking, he was specialised in advisory mandates with corporate, government and private equity clients across mineral resources and infrastructure sectors. During his 8-year long stint as an engineer with Baulderstone Hornibrook, he was critical for the development of substantial infrastructure and mineral resources assets.
Having involved in mining industry across all phases, Mr James Agenbag, has 14 years of experience for

- optimisation of the beneficiation plants of multiple commodities, and
- business development.
He Holds a degree in Chemical Engineering substantiated by key experience as a process design engineer at the leading EPCM contractors including DRA Global and GRD Minproc Limited. At DRA Australia, he was responsible for the R&D activities for new corporate and client management for Africa, Australia, and South east Asia. His strong background in the processing optimisation with multiple patents rights under his name would assist Bowen coking coal in optimising the product quality at minimum expenses. He is a member of South African & Australian Coal Processing Societies and the Institution of Engineers Australia Chemical Engineering Chapter.
Mr Duncan Cornish, a certified Chartered Accountant, is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience across finance, administration, and corporate governance. He specialises in financial reporting, business acquisition, corporate governance, fund raisings, due diligence, IPOs, and company secretarial.
In the past, Mr Cornish served as founding CFO of Coal companies including Stanmore Coal Ltd, Waratah Coal Ltd (ASX:WCI), and Cokal Ltd (ASX:CKA). He has practised his accountancy profession across England and Australia with Big 4 accounting firms including Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
A strong blend of board and management team holding high calibre across management, technical, operational, capital raisings and financial aspects is critical for the success of a coal miner.
