Highlights:

  • White Cliff Minerals secures an exploration agreement for multi-mineral development at the Great Bear project.

  • Awaiting final regulatory approval for drilling commencement.

  • Upcoming geophysical survey results will guide drilling strategy.

White Cliff Minerals, listed as (ASX:WCN), is progressing toward drilling at its Great Bear project, located in Canada’s Northwest Territories. The company has finalized an exploration agreement with the Délınę Got'ıną First Nations government, which allows for exploration activities focused on copper, gold, silver, and uranium. Additionally, all project permits have been extended until early 2028.

Regulatory and Survey Developments

The final approval for drilling is expected to be granted by the Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, a MobileMT geophysical survey has been conducted, with results anticipated soon. These findings will assist in refining the upcoming drill campaign.

Strategic Significance

The agreement with the Délınę Got'ıną represents a significant step forward, ensuring cooperative engagement in the region. White Cliff’s management has emphasized the value of working alongside the local community to advance exploration efforts effectively.

Project Scope and Geological Context

The Great Bear project is situated southwest of White Cliff’s Rae project and encompasses an extensive land area. The region falls within the Great Bear Magmatic Zone (GBMZ), an area historically recognized for its mineral deposits. The GBMZ has recorded substantial extraction of uranium, silver, copper, and gold, making it an area of interest for ongoing mineral exploration.

Exploration Findings

Early fieldwork and the MobileMT survey have indicated promising mineralization across the Great Bear project. Multiple large IOCG hydrothermal systems have been identified, including the Phoenix structure, where copper grades have been measured at notably high levels. These findings reinforce the importance of systematic exploration to uncover further mineralized zones.

Outlook for the Project

As White Cliff Minerals prepares to initiate drilling activities, the expected geophysical survey results will play a crucial role in shaping exploration strategies. The company continues to advance its technical assessment while aligning its work with parallel projects within the broader region.
