Nexus Minerals confirms further gold mineralisation through an extensive aircore drilling campaign
Expanded mineralised zones at MC2.1 and Payns prospects within the Wallbrook Gold Project
Next aircore program scheduled to commence shortly as systematic exploration continues
Nexus Minerals Ltd (ASX:NXM), operating in the Australian gold exploration sector, has confirmed an extended mineralised footprint at the Wallbrook Gold Project located in Western Australia. The latest results stem from a recently completed regional aircore drilling program, executed to systematically evaluate the broader tenement package.
This campaign involved several hundred drill holes covering a large meterage across the project’s key geological structures. With the receipt of all assay results now complete, Nexus is progressing toward the launch of its next phase of aircore drilling, planned to begin within the current month.
Significant Results Strengthen Wallbrook Project Scope
The regional aircore program has yielded encouraging results at multiple exploration zones. At the MC2.1 area, mineralised extensions have increased the strike and width of gold-bearing structures. These findings further validate earlier drilling phases that returned high-grade intersections across consistent depths.
The MC2.1 area, following these results, has now been included within the broader Clement Prospect. Previous reverse circulation drilling in this section returned notable grades, highlighting continuity within the subsurface geology.
Parallel progress has been made at the Payns prospect, where new gold intercepts were encountered across shallow depths. These zones add to the spatial footprint of mineralisation, further extending the scale of gold-bearing horizons in the Wallbrook region.
Systematic Approach Driving Discovery
Nexus Minerals remains focused on near-surface exploration as part of its broader geological evaluation strategy. By targeting shallow mineralised zones, the company is leveraging cost-effective methods to enhance geological understanding and resource building within its projects.
With assay data now fully received from the previous campaign, planning is underway for a reverse circulation drill program designed to follow up on priority zones. The next regional aircore drilling phase is also scheduled for execution shortly, continuing the consistent approach across the consolidated Wallbrook tenements.
Strategic Tenement Consolidation in Eastern Goldfields
The Wallbrook Gold Project now benefits from a unified tenement holding through the consolidation of previously separate land parcels. This strategic amalgamation has brought together a suite of highly prospective gold-bearing terrains within one of Western Australia’s recognised mineral corridors.
Nexus Minerals’ land position spans multiple structural trends, known for hosting gold systems of interest to exploration entities operating in the region. The company’s continued commitment to structured, data-driven exploration underpins its broader presence in the Mining Stocks, ASX 200 landscape.
With exploration funding secured, Nexus Minerals remains focused on detailed geological programs designed to support ongoing project development within the Wallbrook region.
