Takeover Play for Infigen by UAC, Share Price Skyrocketed 33.051%

Infigen Energy Trust (ASX:IFN) and Infigen Energy Limited recognize the statement by UAC Energy Holdings Pty Ltd with respect to its aim of making an off-market takeover offer for acquiring all of the Infigen stapled securities.

UAC has acquired an aggregate interest of 12.82% in Infigen Energy. UAC Energy intends to make an all cash takeover offer of AUD 0.80 per stapled security of Infigen. Moreover, UAC stated that the Offer would not be subject to a minimum acceptance condition.

Post announcement IFN shares climbed by 34.746% to AUD 0.795 on 3 June 2020 (at AEST 12:19 AM).
