Sydney Airport (ASX:SYD) has reported Traffic Performance for December 2019. It was said that the traffic numbers through the calendar year have depicted resilience amid toughest trading condition in over a decade.
Traffic from the US and India has helped to offset the slowdown from other places.
- Domestic traffic was up 1.3% over December 2018, and YTD domestic traffic was down 0.5%.
- International traffic was down 0.4% over December 2018, and YTD International traffic was down 1.1%.
- For India, YTD traffic was up 7.9%, and for the US, YTD traffic was up 6.9%.
By 12:57 PM AEDT, SYD was trading at $8.665, down 3.61 per cent from the previous close.
