S&P/ASX 200 Surpassed 7000 Points

The S&P/ASX 200 index has breached 7k mark, at around 12:58 PM AEDT, the benchmark index was trading at 7,035 points, up 40.2 points or 0.6 per cent from the previous close.

In the US, phase one trade deal was signed between China and the US overnight. China has agreed to buy an additional USD 200 billion worth of US goods over the next two years.
