Northern Minerals to ramp up Browns Range output

Northern Minerals Limited (ASX:NTU), after the major shutdown in December to modify the kiln feed system, is pushing forward with the ramp up of its pilot plant at the Browns Range heavy rare earth pilot plant in Western Australia. A new ore sorter is expected be installed and commissioned by mid of the current year.

The ramp up is expected in June quarter with improved quality of the rare earth carbonate. The pilot plant produced 158,959 kilograms of rare earth carbonate by December last year, with the final product being exported to thyssenkrupp Materials Trading as per the offtake agreement.
