Horizon Oil Rejects AFR’s Bribery Scandal Allegation; Starts Private Investigation

Horizon Oil Limited (ASX: HZN) has confirmed that it has no actual knowledge of any wrongdoing relating to the payment to acquire an interest in Petroleum Retention Licence 21 (PRL 21).

Recently, The Australian Financial Review issued an article suggesting that a collection of leaked documents was given to the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC), and that the AFP are examining the documents.

At AEST 01:14PM, the stock price stood at $0.078 and plunged 7.143% from its previous close.
