Gold Prices peaks in Australian Dollar

Amid the falling Crude Oil Prices and the continued weakening of the Australian Dollar and the investors rushed for gold to safeguard their investment, the gold prices peaked in Australian Dollar.

Gold traded at $2,342 an ounce providing strong support to the gold miners. The major gold miners gained on ASX with Newcrest trading at $32.13 (0.5%), Evolution Mining at $3.89 (3.18%) and Northern Star at $12.97 a share at 2:00 PM AEDT. The Australian Dollar has plunged by the risk appetite pullback following the spread of Coronavirus in China.
