Australia’s Overseas Arrivals and Departures Statistics For September 2019

Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) released September 2019’s international travel movements of persons arriving in, and departing from Australia, focusing on short term trips (less than 1 year), which depicts that:

  • Overseas visitor arrivals were up by 0.5% since the previous month to 809,700 trips;
  • Australian resident returns from overseas were up by 0.7% since the previous month to 960,600 trips.
