ABS Reported a Rise in Dwelling Approvals and Job Vacancies

Recent data announced by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has demonstrated a rise in seasonally adjusted dwelling approvals and job vacancies in November 2019 and November 2019 Quarter, respectively.

The data incorporated the following seasonally adjusted estimates:

  • Dwelling approvals increased by 11.8% in November.
  • Approvals for private dwellings excluding houses improved by 22.6%.
  • Number of job vacancies rose by 1.6% in November quarter.
  • Australian Capital Territory saw a robust percentage growth of 15.2% in job vacancies over the year to November quarter.
