Sydney FC coach Ante Juric expects to lose as many as four key players from his trophy-laden A-League Women squad ahead of next season.

Juric now has two championships and three premierships after Sydney beat Western United 4-0 in Sunday's grand final at CommBank Stadium.

But he will have to rejuvenate his squad with the likes of Matildas winger Cortnee Vine among those poised to attract attention from overseas.

"There's about four players off contract and they're big guns. So we need to try and get them back," Juric told reporters.

"I don't want to lose anyone but obviously, people have to go their own path, because they're quite young, in the early stages of their careers.

"I'm anticipating maybe losing two. The other two we're going to try and fight for but if they want to go, they go.

"We've got to try and get someone in, probably will have to be a foreigner this time. Even though I try to get a lot of Australians, but a lot of other teams are starting to get foreigners and it's getting a bit tough.

"So, I'll have to look into it. We're probably going to lose four, the rest are all signed. So it's good for us."

Vine appears destined for a move overseas, if she wants it.

"I'm hoping she stays for next year but she's one that will be a bit tough to retain," Juric said.

"But we're going to table something to her and hopefully she does stay. Because she does love it here.

"But in saying that, she does have to challenge herself in other ways maybe. But she's got to make the right choice to go to a decent club, not just a low-key club."

Vine wouldn't be drawn on her future, with the Women's World Cup less than three months away.

"I actually have no idea what I'm doing," she said.

"I've got the World Cup coming up and that's what I'm really focusing on right now. And beyond that, I'm not sure what's happening."

Player of the match Madison Haley hopes to come back for a second ALW season.

Playmaker Mackenzie Hawkesby is signed for next season but will likely attract attention while Rachel Lowe was uncertain whether she would return but is in talks about her future.

Hawkesby was confident the Sky Blues could go again, given Juric's ability to bring a team together and enjoy such success.

"It's so special because at the end of the day we were nobodies before we came to this team," she said.

"I think we'll retain a lot of our players but end of the day I think we've left a pretty good legacy."
