Serko’s Business Impacted by Coronavirus; Operating Revenue for FY2020 Might Be Towards the Lower End of the Guidance

Serko Limited (ASX: SKO) reported that the transactions have continued to increase over the prior period, however, there is a drop in the bookings because of the coronavirus impacts. The company expects softer transaction numbers to continue as corporate clients modify their travel rules to limit unnecessary travel.

These events have calmed otherwise robust growth in the Australasian market from total new business and the shift of present clients from Serko Online to Zeno.

North American transactions have started after the shift of several Travel Management Businesses from pilot stage.

Serko expects FY2020 total operating revenue to be the lower end of the guidance range 20% and 40%.
