Artificial intelligence (AI) stocks and crypto will be in the spotlight this week as NVIDIA conducts its closely-watched GTC event in the US. This will be a crucial event where the company showcases its top innovations and products. This article looks at some of the top AI altcoins to buy ahead of this event.

Top AI altcoins to buy ahead of NVIDIA GTC event

NVIDIA showcased some key products in the GTC event in 2024. The most notable product was Blackwell GPU platform, the most powerful product for handling advanced AI workloads. The B200 GPU combined two Blackwell dies into a single chip.

NVIDIA also showcased the NVIDIA NIM software product, GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip, and the DGX SuperPOD. The event also sees the company unveil partnerships with other companies in the tech industry.

Some of the top AI altcoins to buy ahead of the GTC event this week are Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL), Render (RNDR), and Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET).

AI crypto to buy: Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL)

The first AI altcoin to consider is the Virtuals Protocol, which is a major player in the industry. Virtuals Protocol is a platform that enables users to generate AI agents. Some of the top players in the ecosystem are aixbt, GAME, Vader AI, and Ribbita.

The VIRTUAL token price has crashed by over 85% from its highest level this year. Still, there is a likelihood that it will bounce back ahead of the NVIDIA GTC event since it has become highly oversold and formed a falling wedge chart pattern on the daily chart. This pattern is made up of two descending and converging trendlines.

AI altcoin to buy: Render Token (RNDR)

Render is one of the top AI coins in the crypto industry. It is also a big player in the Solana ecosystem

Render is a large player that helps developers and designers use the most advanced NVIDIA chips by leasing them only. These users pay a small fee that starts at about $0.25 per OctaneBench hour, meaning that one can pay about $6 a day.

Render does not have all these GPUs to lease. Instead, it uses a peer-to-peer approach where users with free GPU space can share with others and make money. Large data center companies and ender firms can join the network.

Render token price has crashed to $3 from last year’s high of $13.50. There is a possibility that the RNDR token will rebound as investors buy the dip.

AI crypto coin to buy: Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET)

The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance is another top A altcoin to buy. It is an alliance made of four key players in the AI industry like Fetch ai, Ocean Protocol, SingularityNET, and Cudos.

These players performed several key functions. SingularityNET provides a marketplace for AI tools like Rejuve, Awakening Health, and Nunet. Fetch.ai, on the other hand, is a top player in the AI agents. Ocean Protocol is in the data side of the AI industry.

The FET token has crashed from the all-time high of $3.5 in March to a low of $0.5165. It is now hovering at its lowest swing since February last year.

Will AI crypto coins rise or fall ahead the NVIDIA event?

It is still too early to determine whether these AI coins will rise or fall ahead of, during, and after the NVIDIA GTC event this week. A likely situation is where they rise as the event hype rises and then resume the downward trend as investors sell the hype.
