The UK has close to 54 billionaires, and Sir James Dyson tops the list. He is the wealthiest person in the UK as per the Sunday Times in 2020 with an estimated net worth of around £16.2 billion. He gained approximately £3.6 billion since the previous Sunday Times list was published. Sir James Dyson replaced the Hinduja Brothers to top the list. He is the founder of the Company Dyson that sells products such as vacuum cleaners, hand dryers, fans, air purifiers and other electronics items. He has also served as the Provost of the Royal College of Art from August 2011 to July 2017.
It would be interesting to see whether Sir James Dyson would be able to hold his position in the UK's wealthiest list next year as the health crisis has wiped off the wealth of many top businessmen.
