Wetherspoon, the largest pub chain in Britain, will sell pints of ale for 99 pence in a bid to clear stock ahead of the new lockdown. The pub chain has launched a three-day sale before the second national lockdown comes into force on Thursday. Wetherspoon had already slashed prices to keep the customers coming into the pubs.

The portfolio comprises some of the prominent, timeless, and most successful hit songs of the last 60 years, including rights to Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You.
* Ryanair not to refund for flights during the second lockdown The budget airline Ryanair has decided not to offer refunds for flights in November, the period of the second lockdown in the UK. Michael O’Leary, the chief executive, said that there won’t be refunds on flights that are operating and travelling; however, he announced waiver of change fees for bookings. The airline has posted a loss of €197 million for the first half of the financial year 2020-21, its first for the summer period in the last 30 years.
