Guident Ltd, which develops software solutions used by autonomous vehicle (AV) companies and for the remote monitoring of vehicles and delivery drone, has received a major boost to its business. The company has entered and executed a strategic alliance with Bestmile USA Inc. having global offices in San Francisco (USA) and Lausanne (Switzerland).

This strategic alliance is going to be a game-changer in the AV segment and prove a major milestone for both the companies to address a critical need in the AV ecosystem. While Guident is into patented artificial intelligence solutions for AVs and drones, including valet systems. It also deals into remote monitoring and control and connected vehicle data sharing for active safety as well in concierge services. Bestmile, since its launch in 2014 has pioneered the operations of autonomous vehicles into real-life mobility solutions, its fleet Orchestration Platform allows mobility providers to deploy, manage and optimise autonomous and conventional vehicle fleets.

A Perfect Combination to Capture the Growing AV Market

The two tech partners will be focusing on several areas for collaboration in Europe and North America with this alliance. It will also include providing Guident’s patented, advanced teleoperation for AV as well and human-driven vehicles to enhance customer safety and security. In addition to a reliable, low latency connection to any advanced mobile network solution.

The strategic alliance is a perfect combination of two innovation-driven companies to capture the rapidly growing AV market, which as per the latest Allied Market Research, is expected to reach $556 billion by 2026 with a CAGR of 39 per cent.
