The profit before tax increased to £132.4 million in the six months ending 31st December 2019 as compared to £93.0 million in the six months ending 31st December 2018.

The profit for the period increased to £114.2 million in the six months ending 31st December 2019 as compared to £74.0 million in the six months ending 31st December 2018.

The company’s return on equity increased to 15 per cent in the year 2019 as compared to 5 per cent in the year 2018.

The second interim dividend increased to 8.2 pence in the year 2019 as compared to the 7.8 pence in the year 2018. The full year dividend increased to 12.3 pence in the year 2019 as compared to 11.7 pence in the year 2018. Â
