Kenmare Resources Plc receives approval for ESHIA

  • Kenmare Resources Plc (LON: KMR) has received the approval from the Ministry of Land, Environment and Rural Development in Mozambique for ESHIA (Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessment) for the purpose-built road to Pilivili.
  • The company in its bid to increase production to 1.2 million tonnes per annum of ilmenite from 2021, is transferring its WCP (Wet Concentrator Plant) B to the high-grade Pilivili ore zone in Q3 2020.
  • The company had commenced the construction of the road in late Q3 2019 from within the existing Namalope permit area and after the ESHIA approval will be commencing work along the remainder of the route.
