  • International Business Machines Corp (IBM) has reported strong third-quarter results for 2019.
  • The company witnessed an accelerated Cloud revenue growth due to strong performance of Red Hat, whose revenue was up 19 per cent normalized for historical comparability, while it was up 20 per cent adjusting for currency.
  • Cloud revenue was up 11 per cent to $5.0 billion in the third quarter, while the operating (non-GAAP) EPS stood at $2.68.
  • On 17th October 2019, at the time of writing, GMT 08:08 AM, IBM shares were trading at USD 142.18, flat against the previous day closing price.
