Cold Storage, CS Fresh, Giant, Guardian and 7-Eleven will deliver greater spending rewards and savings through one of Singapore's largest retail partnerships

SINGAPORE, July 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- DBS Bank today launched an exclusive strategic partnership, making it the only bank in Singapore to offer spending privileges at more than 680 outlets across Cold Storage, CS Fresh, Giant, Guardian and 7-Eleven. As one of Singapore's largest retail partnerships, this collaboration underscores both organisations' shared commitment to delivering greater value on customers' everyday purchases. It also reinforces DBS' position as the preferred bank for everyday spending, with the bank delivering even bigger savings for DBS/POSB cardholders across Singapore's most frequented daily shopping destinations.

With Singaporeans becoming more value-conscious due to cost-of-living concerns, the partnership aims to address growing demand for meaningful savings on everyday purchases. According to NielsenIQ, one in four Singaporeans are keen to save more money in 2025. This inclination towards prudent spending is reflected across Asia-Pacific. A 2024 Euromonitor report[1] found that some 72% of consumers were concerned about the increasing cost of everyday expenses, prompting more deliberate purchasing decisions.

The partnership with Cold Storage, CS Fresh, Giant, Guardian and 7-Eleven means DBS/POSB cardholders will enjoy exclusive deals and savings with these brands for everyday spending, all year round. This includes essential and frequently purchased goods such as groceries, health and wellness products, as well as convenience store items. In addition, DBS yuu cardholders will enjoy up to 18% in cash rebates[2], while PAssion POSB debit cardholders will enjoy up to 9% in cash rebates[2] as well as one-for-one deals, on a wide range of everyday items at Cold Storage, CS Fresh, Giant, Guardian and 7-Eleven. These rebates can be redeemed in-store for more savings on everyday essentials.

"This partnership represents a significant milestone in our commitment to helping Singaporeans get the most value from their everyday spending," said Chan Sow Han, Head of Payments & Platforms, Consumer Banking Group, DBS Singapore. "By combining DBS' wide-ranging rewards programme with an extensive retail network, we're creating unmatched value for customers while solidifying our position as the clear choice for daily spending. This collaboration demonstrates our deep understanding of customer priorities and our commitment to addressing cost-of-living concerns through meaningful partnerships."

"At Cold Storage and Giant, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. This partnership with DBS is centred on providing our customers with meaningful rewards and savings from the items they need most—fresh food, groceries and everyday basics. By uniting our extensive store network with DBS' strong customer base, we're making everyday essentials more accessible, rewarding and relevant for all customers," said Lim Boon Cheong, Managing Director, Cold Storage and Giant.

"At Guardian, our goal is to be Singapore's trusted wellness advisor, supporting our customers in leading healthy and beautiful lives. As Singapore's largest health and beauty retailer, we are committed to offering quality products and professional advice. This partnership with DBS strengthens that commitment by making everyday wellness even more accessible and rewarding. Together, we're helping customers prioritise their well-being with greater savings on the essentials they trust us for," said Naresh Kalani, Managing Director, Guardian.

"At 7-Eleven, we are committed to being a reliable and accessible part of our customers' daily lives. Whether it's a cold drink, a quick meal or a last-minute essential, there's always a 7-Eleven nearby. As Singapore's largest convenience retailer, we're constantly introducing new and exciting food, drinks, snacks and collectibles, alongside 24/7 access to essential services. Our partnership with DBS allows us to deliver even more customer value, rewarding our customers for choosing 7-Eleven to meet their everyday needs," said Anushree Khosla, Managing Director, 7-Eleven.
