Greencore Group Plc FY19 results are out, stock trade 6% lower

  • Greencore Group Plc revenue declined 3.5% to £1,446.1m against £1,498.5m recorded in the year-over period. However, on account of the considerable reduction in exceptional items, the group’s operating profit surged more than 100% to £99.8m.
  • Adjusted operating profit increased marginally by 0.9% to £105.5 million, and adjusted EPS surged 6% to 16p/share. Return on invested capital declined 120bps to 14.4% from 15.6% reported a year-before period.
  • Its shares plummeted 6.1% or 15.20 points to GBX 233.0 (at the time of writing, before the market close at 02:45 PM GMT).
