Three Australians have bagged the Golden Globes awards, conducted privately in Los Angeles.
Nicole Kidman had won the Golden Globes awards for the best actress category for her role in the firm Being the Ricardos. She had played the role of American actress Lucille Ball in the film.
Sarah Snook had bagged the award for best-supporting actress in a TV series for her performance in Succession.
On the other hand, Kodi Smit-McPhee had won the award for the best supporting actor in a motion picture for his performance in The Power of the Dog, a film by Jane Campion, who also won the award for the best director for the same movie.

Meanwhile, West Side Story had bagged the awards for its stars and in the best musical or comedy film category.
This year, the event was kept private as the Globes was criticized for not being diverse enough, which has led to zero broadcasts, celebrity guests, red carpet, host, media or even a Livestream.
Other big wins include Michaela Jae (MJ) Rodriguez being the first transgender performer to take home a Golden Globes for the best actress in a TV drama for her role on Pose. Even Disney Encanto, directed by Cuban woman Charise Castro Smith had bagged the award for animation.
