Apple on Tuesday launched four new models in iPhone 13 series and other products at its much-awaited California Streaming event. According to Apple, the iPhone 13 line-up has been designed using recycled material and includes iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, and iPhone Pro.
The Apple’s fall event, titled California Streaming, was hosted virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Specifications
Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that all four new iPhone models were built around Apple's new in-house A15 Bionic SoC, which has a 6 core CPU with two high-performance and four efficient cores, plus a 16-core Neural Engine.

iPhone 13 and iPhone mini
- iPhone 13 has a similar look as earlier iPhone 12 models.
- Both iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini come with diagonal lenses.
- Both have ceramic shield front and feature IP68 water resistance.
- iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have a more advanced display.
- The phones can be used to capture cinema-grade videos.
iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone Pro Max
- iPhone 13 Pro was launched in Graphite, Gold, Silver, and Sierra Blue shades.
- Both iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max have the same A15 chip used in the earlier mentioned iPhone 13 models.
- iPhone 13 Pro is 6.1 inches and iPhone 13 Pro Max is 6.7 inches.
- All cameras of phone support Night Mode.
- iPhone 13 Pro’s battery lasts one-and-a-half hour longer compared to iPhone 12 Pro.
- iPhone 13 Pro Max’s battery lasts two-and-a-half hour longer that iPhone 13 Pro.
iPhone prices and availability
While the iPhone 13 Pro’s price starts at US$999, iPhone 13 Pro Max’s starting price is US$1,099 for the same 128GB of storage as the previous generation. On the other hand, the iPhone 13 mini starts at US$699 while the iPhone 13 starts at US$799. Customers can get 128GB of storage on each at these prices.
iPhone SE (2020) starts at US$399. iPhone 11 will start at US$499, and the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini remain available beginning at US$599.
Preorders for latest Apple models will begin on September 17, with retail availability starting on September 24 in US, UK, Japan, China, Australia, India, and Canada.

New iPad 2021
Apple's iPad 2021 has the latest A13 Bionic chipset. The iPad has a 12MP ultra-wide camera with 122-degree point of view. It also has a button at the bottom.
iPad mini
iPad mini has one 8.3-inch screen with Touch ID as part of the top button. It runs the A13 Bionic chipset as well. It has a USB-C port now.
Apple Watch Series 7
The Apple Watch Series 7 will start at US$399. It will go on sale at this fall. Apple Watch Series 7 gets comes in five new aluminium colours -- silver, graphite, and gold stainless steel. It has a 40% thinner border, redesigned buttons, and a new bigger display. Series 7 now supports a full keyboard.
