PETALING JAYA, Malaysia, Sept. 21, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Sungrow, the global leading inverter and energy storage system supplier, held the Future Energy Roadshow in Malaysia on September 20th with more than 150 clients in attendance. During the roadshow, participants discussed in detail the opportunities and challenges of photovoltaic energy storage development in Malaysia. They also discussed industry technology development trends, and shared project cases and experiences. Sungrow also introduced its utility-scale and C&I solutions. With their powerful performance, these solutions are expected to boost Malaysia's energy transition.

Government efforts are being made to promote renewable energy in Malaysia

Recently, Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasized that Malaysia's development will rely heavily on alternative energy and strong cooperation with the world. To support this vision, the government has allocated MYR 2 billion as initial funding for the national energy transition fund.

Sungrow's cutting-edge renewable energy solutions lead Malaysian energy transition

Based on Malaysia's alternative energy development needs, Sungrow displayed diverse solutions including the ultra powerful 350kW string inverter SG350HX, the innovative "1+X" modular inverter, which combines the advantages of central and string inverters, and the new generation liquid-cooled energy storage system PowerTitan 2.0 to facilitate the development of utility-scale power plants in Malaysia.

With Malaysia's Net Energy Metering Scheme, local factories and commercial buildings will be more willing to install photovoltaics to reduce electricity bills. Solar power will become a trend. In this case, Sungrow also brings to on-site customers its C&I 125kW PV inverter SG125CX-P2, energy storage system PowerStack, and power optimizer SP600S, promoting efficient green power generation for Malaysian factories.

Kevin Guo, Head of Sungrow Malaysia, said: "We are honored to conduct this road show in Petaling Jaya and grateful to so many partners for coming. The latest energy solutions display in this roadshow integrate Sungrow's 26 years of technology and experience accumulation to increase renewable energy proportion in Malaysia and improve the energy structure. At the upcoming IGEM 2023, Sungrow will officially reveal the true colors of all our newly developed products to all audiences. We invite everyone to come and visit."
