JINCHANG, China, June 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- "Electricity consumption is high in summer, thank you for regularly coming to inspect. With you around, we feel very reassured." On June 10, Wang Desheng, Secretary of the Party Branch of Longjing Village, Ningyuanpu Town, Jinchang District, Jinchang City, Gansu Province, said to Xie Kai, an employee of Jinchang Power Supply Company.

In recent years, Longjing Village's collective tourism economy has developed rapidly, transforming from scattered farming and breeding to large-scale operation, and from "going it alone" to "collective development". Wang Desheng introduced that Longjing Village uses electricity to empower rural tourism, constructing a development layout of "one core, three zones, and multiple nodes". The Longjing Orchard Comprehensive Service Area in Longjing Village covers 45 mu. The park has built intelligent temperature-controlled greenhouses for scientific planting and installed electrified cold chain equipment to ensure the freshness of fruits and vegetables. In the agricultural experience area of the park, tourists can learn planting knowledge through electronic screens.

The Taohuayuan Homestay Living Area covers 230 mu. The homestay cluster is equipped with an intelligent power control system, allowing lighting adjustment, floor heating, and air conditioning to be controlled via mobile phones. Electric sightseeing vehicles connect the peach blossom viewing spots and homestay clusters, facilitating tourists' travel. The 15 homestay communities in the Yehuwan Nursery Base Leisure Experience Area have installed photovoltaic power generation projects, achieving green electricity consumption. In the art experience workshops, electric tools assist tourists in creation, and intelligent lighting systems create suitable lighting for sketching areas. New energy vehicle charging piles are distributed in various parking lots of Longjing Village, providing convenience for self-driving tourists.
