A prominent investment firm CEO has predicted bitcoin will be worth a million dollars in the near future.
Cathie Wood, the chief executive of US-based investment management firm Ark Invest, told the Bitcoin 2022 conference in Miami this week that Bitcoin would reach the million dollar mark by 2030.
Wood said she believes more and more people will start investing in Bitcoin as it acts as a hedge against inflation.
This is despite the fact Bitcoin has plunged by 27 per cent in the last year while inflation has been on the increase.
