Ethereum’s much anticipated upgrade might be postponed again accompanied to Ethereum’s core developer.
Tim Beiko tweeted on Tuesday that Ethereum’s much anticipated upgrade will not come in June as previously predicted. Rather, users of the Ethereum network will have to wait for an extra few months, according to the core developer.
The setback is just the latest in a series of postponements for the upgrade, which was originally slated for completion in 2019.
Ethereum’s upgrade will mean that the existing protocol of proof-of-work, which requires huge amounts of computing power to release tokens, will change to a proof-of-stake – a much more scalable solution.
