Canada’s Intact Financial (TSX:IFC) to acquire RSA insurance in UK’s biggest takeover in 2020. | CA|

Canada’s Intact Financial Corp along with Scandinavian insurance company Tryg A/S is set to purchase RSA Insurance Group Plc for C$ 12.3 billion. Intact Financial will be paying C$ 5.1 billion of the total consideration payable amount, while Tryg will pay C$ 7.2 billion.

Canada’s Wholesale Trade Climbed 0.9% in September, Reports StatsCan Canada’s wholesale sales rose to C$ 66.2 billion in the month of September and hovered above the February’s pre-pandemic level for the third month in a row. The sales, however, dropped 0.2 per cent in September in terms of volume.
