Vertiqal Studios Corp. (TSX:VRTS) announced the appointment of award-winning advertising and marketing executive Steven Moy to its Board of Directors. The company, a digital-channel network and video-production studio that owns North America’s largest gaming and lifestyle network on social media, said Moy’s addition brings extensive leadership and technical expertise to the team.

Steven Moy: Experience and Industry Background
Mr. Moy has more than three decades of experience spanning advertising, technology, and digital transformation. He has held senior leadership roles across major global agencies and technology-driven marketing organizations.
In 2019, Moy became CEO of Barbarian, part of Cheil Worldwide, leading client expansion, new business practices, and international growth. Before that, he was EVP and U.S. Chief Technology Officer at R/GA, where he oversaw monetization of technology partnerships and investments.
His previous roles also include CEO of Isobar UK and Regional Vice President at SapientNitro (Northeast U.S.), where he guided business transformation strategies.
Throughout his career, Moy has worked with leading global brands such as McDonald’s, Marvel, Shiseido, Johnson & Johnson, CVS Health, American Express, Samsung, and AT&T. Under his leadership, Barbarian added 14 clients, launched consulting services, and opened a global office in Warsaw.
Moy’s industry recognition includes being named a Campaign A-Lister, inclusion in Campaign’s 40 Over 40, and FastCompany’s World Changing Idea acknowledgment. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Boston University.
