Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (US:BRK.A, NYSE:BRK.A) Class A Shares have achieved such a high price that Nasdaq exchange computers are unable to calculate their price. The exchange website has stopped publishing price quotes for them from Tuesday, May 4.

The New York Exchange-listed Berkshire Hathaway stock has NASDAQ's system in check, as its price exceeded the computable figure of US$429,496.7295. The stock achieved an all-time high of US$ 435,120 apiece on Thursday, May 6.

Although the Wall Street Journal alerted through an article two days ago that the rising price could impact NASDAQ in the ‘Y2K’ way or ‘the year 2000 effect' , when computers failed to change the year from 1999 to 2000.

Warren Buffett Says No To Share Split

There is no other US company with a six-figure share price. The second highest share price is held by home constructer NVR Inc. (NVR:US, NYSE:NVR), which was trading at US$ 5,134.44 per common share.
