archTIS Ltd (ASX:AR9) has taken a significant leap forward in its expansion strategy into the United States defence market by securing a pivotal agreement with a major US Department of Defense (DoD) contractor. This agreement covers the deployment of the company’s NC Protect software, designed for secure collaboration and data protection, into the Microsoft DoD365 cloud environment.
The initial contract covers 1,000 user licenses, valued at A$38,500 for a six-month term. While modest in initial scale, the deal serves as a strategic entry point into one of the most demanding and high-security markets globally. This development follows a rigorous validation and testing phase, confirming NC Protect’s capability to operate securely in live defence environments.
This early-stage implementation is expected to be a critical step in a larger deployment roadmap. archTIS is preparing to scale the rollout of NC Protect to support up to 150,000 users within the warfighter network. This network includes not only core defence personnel but also extends to allied forces, positioning NC Protect as a foundational element in secure information sharing across borders and missions.
The software’s ability to deliver attribute-based access control (ABAC) and granular data protection stood out during evaluations. It emerged as the only fully integrated solution in the Microsoft DoD365 ecosystem capable of meeting the DoD’s rigorous compliance and security demands. This technical edge was instrumental in achieving approval for use within real-time defence operations.
The company sees this contract as a cornerstone of its growth strategy, with expectations that it will materially contribute to its financial performance in FY26. NC Protect's adoption by one of the world’s most security-conscious organisations affirms its global relevance and technical maturity.
This milestone not only enhances archTIS’s (AR9) presence in the US federal space but also paves the way for broader government and defence engagements. The confidence shown by the DoD in archTIS technology underscores the company's capacity to meet evolving threats in highly secure environments, further validating its commitment to global cybersecurity innovation.
