archTIS (ASX:AR9, OTCQB:ARHLF) secures a multi-year UK defence contract to deploy NC Protect
The contract supports a major client’s transition from SharePoint Server to Microsoft 365 cloud services
The company strengthens global defence presence following prior collaboration with the US Department of Defense
archTIS Ltd, listed on the ASX 200, ASX 300, and All Ordinaries under ticker (ASX:AR9), and also trading on the OTCQB market as (OTCQB:ARHLF), operates within the cybersecurity sector, specialising in secure information sharing and collaboration for high-compliance industries. The company has entered into a contract with the UK division of a global aerospace and defence organisation, reinforcing its growing influence across international defence networks.
The contract spans multiple years and includes the deployment of archTIS’s flagship platform, NC Protect, to an initial group of hundreds of users within the client organisation. This implementation is set to serve as a global framework for secure cloud collaboration through Microsoft 365, targeting enterprises managing sensitive and export-controlled information.
Strategic Collaboration with UK Defence Sector
The agreement with the UK-based defence entity marks a pivotal step for archTIS in extending its geographical reach beyond the United States and Australia. Following a recent collaboration with the United States Department of Defense, this UK contract further anchors NC Protect’s relevance in Western defence environments.
The initial deployment supports the client's transition from traditional SharePoint Server systems to a cloud-first approach using Microsoft 365. The integration of NC Protect ensures that attribute-based access controls (ABAC) are enforced throughout the environment, aligning with strict defence data policies such as the UK Ministry of Defence’s Joint Service Publication 440.
Addressing Global Cloud Security Demands
The demand for secure collaboration tools in defence has intensified with the global shift toward cloud-based systems. NC Protect was chosen following a successful product evaluation that highlighted its ability to deliver dynamic policy enforcement. This enables secure management of sensitive data by evaluating contextual attributes such as user role, device, location, and data sensitivity.
As part of this contract, NC Protect offers an enhanced security layer that integrates seamlessly with Microsoft 365, supporting secure document access and compliance in high-risk environments. The solution plays a critical role in enabling secure digital transformation across defence supply chains and contractors handling classified or proprietary data.
Alignment with Defence Compliance Requirements
A key aspect of this deployment is its compliance with regulatory frameworks governing the secure handling of defence data. NC Protect’s fine-grained access controls and dynamic policy mechanisms make it suitable for use in defence industrial bases with stringent information control mandates. The capability to protect export-controlled and sensitive data further enhances the appeal of archTIS offerings within regulated sectors.
This milestone reinforces archTIS’s commitment to secure, data-centric collaboration and aligns with its strategic vision to be recognised as a trusted partner in global defence information security. The success of this implementation is expected to establish a benchmark for similar cloud security projects across the defence sector worldwide.
