Highlights

  • Sayona Mining unveils thick, high-grade lithium results at Moblan Project
  • Resource expansion and upgrades strongly supported by drilling
  • Significant number of assay results still pending for 2025 update

Sayona Mining (ASX:SYA) has reported exciting drilling results from its ongoing exploration at the Moblan Lithium Project in Québec, Canada. A total of 99 new drill holes, amounting to 28,513.95 metres, have been completed, revealing substantial high-grade lithium mineralisation across multiple key zones. This latest round of assays signals strong momentum for future resource growth and deeper expansion potential at the site.

The drilling campaign has delivered impressive intercepts from the South, Main, Inter, and Moleon pegmatite zones. Noteworthy findings include a striking 82.80 metres at 1.35% Li₂O and 60.65 metres at 1.87% Li₂O. These thick, high-grade intersections not only underscore the scale of Moblan’s mineral potential but also pave the way for strengthening the project’s overall resource base.

Within the current Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) pit shell, the consistency of grade and thickness observed in the lithium mineralisation reinforces the potential to upgrade inferred resources into higher-confidence indicated and measured categories. The continuity of the high-grade zones across multiple areas highlights the strength and quality of the Moblan deposit.

Looking ahead, there is more to anticipate, with assay results from an additional 116 drill holes still pending. These upcoming results are expected to play a crucial role in supporting further resource upgrades in 2025, strengthening Moblan’s standing as a vital project in the global lithium supply chain.

Sayona Mining’s leadership is optimistic about the future of Moblan. They emphasise that the ongoing drilling success continues to validate Moblan’s emergence as a world-class lithium deposit with remarkable scale and growth prospects. The company’s strategic focus remains on advancing Moblan to meet the growing global demand for lithium, critical to the transition towards cleaner energy solutions.

The promising results from the recent drilling campaigns not only solidify the development potential of the Moblan Lithium Project but also position Sayona Mining (SYA) as a key player in the evolving lithium market. With further assay results on the horizon, the project’s next resource update could mark a significant milestone in its development journey.
