  • New high-grade gold zones intersected at Mulwarrie project
  • Multiple lodes confirmed across a wide mineralised zone
  • Progress continues at King Kong prospect in Comet Vale

Gorilla Gold Mines (ASX:GG8) has made notable progress at its Mulwarrie gold project in Western Australia’s Goldfields region, with new drilling results highlighting the project's strong mineralisation potential. Although not a part of the ASX 100 companies, Gorilla Gold Mines continues to make waves in the mid-tier exploration space with its systematic approach to exploration and resource definition.

Expanding Footprint at Mulwarrie

The latest exploration efforts have led to the discovery of a new footwall lode, significantly enhancing the overall potential of the Mulwarrie system. This lode is one of several identified across a strike length of approximately 2.5 kilometres, indicating a large-scale, multi-lode structure starting from near surface and extending well below. The newly intersected zones are expected to contribute positively to an upcoming mineral resource estimate, set to be revealed in the coming weeks.

The drilling program focused on both deeper extensions and shallow infill zones, reinforcing confidence in the continuity and scale of gold mineralisation. These advancements suggest that the project’s mineralised corridor could be much wider than previously recognised, potentially exceeding known resource boundaries.

Near-Term Potential for Growth

With several assay results from the initial drilling phase still pending, Gorilla Gold Mines anticipates further upside. The company has signaled its intent to continue testing the northern strike extensions, particularly toward the Mulwarrie North area. This region is considered prospective for further discovery based on geological trends and recent exploration data.

Progress at Comet Vale’s King Kong Prospect

In addition to developments at Mulwarrie, Gorilla Gold Mines also reported encouraging results from its Comet Vale project, located northeast of Kalgoorlie. Drilling at the King Kong prospect has extended known mineralisation, which is part of the broader Lakeview discovery. These results reflect ongoing momentum in Gorilla’s regional strategy, with plans to ramp up drilling activity significantly in the coming months.

The company's exploration pipeline remains active, targeting key prospects that align with its vision of uncovering high-grade gold systems in well-endowed terrains.

Gorilla Gold Mines’ continued exploration success reinforces the strength of its asset base and adds further interest to its story as it advances toward potential resource upgrades and development planning.
