Antimony discovery confirmed through due diligence sampling
Historical drilling shows signs of both antimony and gold
New focus on expanding exploration at Golden Pike
Bryah Resources (ASX:BYH) has announced confirmation of high-grade antimony in historical sampling at its Golden Pike project in New Brunswick, Canada. The company officially exercised its option to acquire full ownership of the project earlier this month, following detailed site and historical data review.
The work was conducted as part of a thorough due diligence process before finalising the acquisition from Globex Mining. During this process, historical sampling completed in 2008 showed significant grades of antimony in boulders, reinforcing interest in the asset. These findings were supported by desktop evaluations of previous exploration, which mapped out several key areas of interest across the project.
Historical Work Reveals Multiple Resource Zones
Earlier exploration campaigns at Golden Pike, particularly in the Albright Brook area, focused largely on gold. However, these drilling activities also intersected antimony, broader mineral diversity across the site. Bryah Resources has taken these results into account, with an updated approach to exploration that now includes both resources.
The combination of earlier surface sampling and historical drilling has created a clearer picture of the site’s geological structure. Several areas have been outlined for further work, with the company planning to refine its approach based on this existing data.
Desktop studies have offered additional support by compiling and a wide range of past exploration data. This foundation is expected to assist in shaping future field programs and guiding on-ground activity.
Experienced Leadership Sets Direction for Project
The leadership team at Bryah Resources brings several decades of experience in the resources sector, covering project management, mineral processing, and delivery of large-scale exploration programs. This experience is expected to play a role in steering the next phase of work at Golden Pike.
The company’s latest move into Canadian territory reflects a broader strategy to expand beyond its existing project base. The timing of the Golden Pike acquisition also aligns with wider market attention on minerals like antimony, which are used across a range of industries including electronics, defence, and energy storage.
