Immuron Ltd (ASX:IMC) has reported solid sales growth for its immune supplement Travelan® during the September quarter. The product, which is designed to target harmful bacteria and toxins in the gastrointestinal tract, has seen steady demand across its key markets.
In the latest update, the company revealed that global sales for Travelan® reached A$1.5 million, representing a 13% increase compared to the previous quarter. This continued growth highlights the expanding demand for immune support supplements, particularly in regions like Australia and North America.
Performance in Australia
In Australia, Travelan® generated A$1 million in sales during the September quarter, showing a modest 3% growth from the June period. Immuron has expanded its domestic presence, increasing the availability of the product by securing placements in nine additional pharmacy banner groups. This broader distribution network is expected to further strengthen the company’s market position in Australia.
Strong Growth in North America
The standout performance for Travelan® came from North America, where sales surged by 48%. Sales climbed to A$500,000, up from A$300,000 in the previous quarter. This growth is largely attributed to the company's successful expansion into the US and Canadian markets. In the US, Immuron achieved its highest-ever monthly sales on Amazon, reflecting strong consumer interest in immune supplements.
In Canada, the company has broadened its distribution by securing placements in 10 pharmacy and grocery retailers. This strategic expansion has allowed Travelan® to gain a stronger foothold in North America, contributing significantly to the company’s overall performance.
Outlook for Global Distribution
Immuron’s efforts to strengthen its distribution network globally are yielding results. The company has indicated that it will continue building on this positive momentum as it expands its reach into new markets. By enhancing its presence across various regions and securing new retail partnerships, the company is well-positioned to continue driving Travelan® sales growth in the coming quarters.
This robust performance in both Australia and North America underscores Immuron’s commitment to expanding its product distribution and catering to the growing demand for gastrointestinal health supplements.
