Pacific Smiles Group Limited (ASX:PSQ) has announced the appointment of Brent Cubis as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee, effective from October 9, 2024. Brent brings a wealth of experience from his extensive career as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and as a Non-Executive Director for several prominent healthcare and multi-site businesses. He has served as CFO for companies such as Cochlear Ltd, National Home Doctor Service Ltd, Fitness First Ltd, and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Ltd. Brent’s leadership and financial expertise have been pivotal in these organizations, particularly in enhancing business growth and health outcomes.
Beyond his executive career, Brent has held several Non-Executive Director roles and currently serves on the boards of AI Media, ARN Media, and Silverchain Group, where he also chairs the Audit & Risk Committee. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce, and he is a Chartered Accountant and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Brent is also actively involved in the not-for-profit sector. He serves on the board of Canteen, a leading Australian organization dedicated to supporting young people impacted by cancer.

Following his departure, Martin White, currently the company’s Head of Finance, will step in as Acting CFO. Matthew's contributions to Pacific Smiles have been significant, and the board expressed its gratitude for his leadership and commitment to ensuring a smooth transition.
Martin White has been with Pacific Smiles since 2021 and has held various finance roles across organizations such as Life Without Barriers, General Electric, REMA Tip Top, Serco Sodexo Defence Services, Ausgrid, and NSW Treasury. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours), is a Chartered Accountant, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
