Esports Mogul Asia Pacific Limited (ASX: ESH) announced about the completion of its 1500 Tournaments for Silver Slam which was held in partnership with Razer. The prize pool value for this tournament is estimated to be $275,000.
The Company hosted just within 1,500 Silver Slam tournaments with up to 20 tournaments being held concurrently over the duration of February and March. This is a technical and logistical feat which has been received positively from the player base, demonstrating the tournament platform’s unique position in the market, able to host vast tournament series with differing game titles and structures simultaneously without interruption.
The Company’s efforts across the month of Silver Slam has provided critical insight and opportunity to collect data and improve operations – from technology automation to process – which will now be utilized to drive Mogul’s near-term plans for expansion into multiple new markets.
It hosted around 17 game titles during Silver Slam including Apex Legends, Dota 2, CS:GO, Mobile Legends: League of Legends, Bang Bang, Arena of Valor, Rainbow Six Siege and Hearthstone. Further to this, Mogul found over the course of Silver Slam that platform users heavily favored 1v1 tournaments. In response, the Company will facilitate more 1v1 and ‘solo’ tournaments. The Company continues to enhance automation on the platform as its near-term development efforts will now focus on creating team finder functionality and organizer portals. These developments and others represent a continued effort to scale the active player base and support the organizations who will help attract them to Mogul, including esports teams, event bodies, and brands.
Esports Mogul’s Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer Jamie Skella stated that they are thrilled with the resounding success with sponsors, players, and the business itself as Silver Slam was the first tournament series of this scale for Mogul. This will enhance their confidence for even grander opportunities ahead. They are highly excited by the insights and determined to expand into other countries around the world soon.
