Domain Holdings Australia (ASX:DHG) shared an encouraging update on its revenue performance during its 2024 Annual General Meeting, showcasing positive trends driven by rising demand in digital and premium listing services. This growth reflects the company’s strategic focus on its digital ecosystem, aimed at creating value for agents, buyers, and sellers in Australia’s competitive property market.

In the first quarter of the 2025 fiscal year, Domain’s residential revenue saw a robust 12% increase compared to the previous year, bolstered by a 15% rise in depth revenue and a 9% gain in digital revenue. Depth revenue, which includes premium listing services to enhance property visibility, and digital revenue from online advertising and data solutions, both contribute significantly to Domain’s broader digital platform. These segments underscore the company’s shift toward a comprehensive digital-first strategy.

Adding to the momentum, October listings exhibited consistent growth, driving depth revenue up by 19% on a like-for-like basis from the prior year. This upward trend in listings and premium services supports Domain’s goal of attracting more customer engagement through differentiated service offerings. The company’s digital transformation appears to be gaining traction, which it credits to the strength of its Marketplace strategy.

CEO Jason Pellegrino emphasized the company’s Marketplace approach, a strategy designed to merge its core listing business with supplementary services to deliver unique experiences for users. By leveraging exclusive insights and “Only on Domain” features, Domain aims to set itself apart in the market while providing enhanced value. Pellegrino underscored the commitment to this strategy, noting its potential to bring additional value to real estate professionals and consumers alike.

Looking forward, Domain maintained its fiscal guidance, projecting cost increases in the high single to low double digits, while expecting stability in EBITDA margins through FY26. This outlook aligns with Domain’s goal of supporting sustainable growth and margin expansion as it continues to scale its digital offerings and data-driven solutions.

Through its investments in technology and expanded digital services, Domain Holdings Australia appears well-positioned to meet the growing demand for comprehensive, data-rich property insights, positioning itself as a leader in Australia’s digital real estate market.
