- State Gas Limited (ASX:GAS)
Today, State Gas announced that its first well in its new Rolleston-West Gas Project in Central Queensland has confirmed the existence of gas-bearing coal seams. This strengthens the company’s view that these coals will be developed synergistically with the Reid’s Dome gas discoveries. Gas was observed bubbling from the coal, and field values indicate gas content is likely to be within the expectations.

The GAS share price is trading 1.89% down, at AU$0.52.
- Cynata Therapeutics Limited (ASX:CYP)
Cynata Therapeutics’ share price has increased by 2.5% to AU$0.6 as the company has announced that the first patient has been enrolled in its MEND (MEseNchymal coviD-19) clinical trial. The trial is being conducted to investigate early efficacy of Cynata’s Cymerus™ mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in patients with respiratory failure.
Investors seem to be cheerful as the company is progressing with the trial, which is expected to cement Cynata’s world-leading position in the development of next generation commercially scalable stem cell products.
- Frontier Resources Limited (ASX:FNT)
Frontier Resources has successfully completed its landowner MRA Warden’s hearing as part of the renewal process of its wholly owned tenement EL2531. Around 40 locals were in attendance and according to the company, the meeting went very well.

However, the investors didn’t seem to be satisfied with the update, dragging the FNT share price by 6.2% to AU$0.015.
- Vection Technologies Limited (ASX:VR1)
Vection Technologies has achieved a milestone of completing its first public hospital trial of XR solution. The solution enables surgeons to visualise in their field of view (hand-free), in augmented reality (AR), all the data necessary for the surgery, including diagnostic images, surgery checklist, endoscopic video-feed, and more. This is deemed to be a material advancement for the company.
The VR1 share price was trading 5% up at the day’s high. As of 2:00 PM, the stock is trading flat after falling from the high of the day.
- Zip Co Limited (ASX:Z1P)
BNPL giant Zip Co has agreed to acquire the remaining shares of European BNPL player, Twisto Payments. Additionally, the firm has also entered into an agreement to acquire the remaining shares of UAE-based BNPL leader Spotii Holdings Ltd. The company is going all guns blazing in its quest to become a global giant in this niche space.

The Z1P share price has faced some profit booking from the day’s high, currently trading 0.71% up at AU$7.08.
