Highlights

  • Companies like Eagers Automotive Limited and Harvey Norman Holdings are going ex-dividend tomorrow.
  • On or after the ex-dividend date, traders who buy a stock will not receive the subsequent dividend payment.

An ex-dividend date, sometimes known as an "ex-date," indicates that an investor who purchases a stock on or after the ex-dividend date will not be eligible to receive the announced dividend. Rather, individuals who owned the stock the day before the ex-dividend date receive the dividend payout.

The dividend amount will adjust the shares down because buyers aren't entitled to the next dividend payment on the ex-date.

Today, we will talk about three companies including Eagers Automotive Limited, Harvey Norman Holdings Limited and Image Resources NL that are going ex-dividend tomorrow (31 March 2022). To receive the upcoming dividend, these stocks might stay on investors' watchlists during today's trading session.
